By recognizing and valuing different perspectives, characteristics, experiences, and attributes, the Center for Diversity & Inclusion and the Office for Women’s Careers creates and supports an atmosphere of cultural awareness, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging where every person thrives.

Priorities and goals:


  • Advocate for the active and transparent recruitment and retention of diverse faculty and trainees
  • Continually strive to create a welcoming and engaging environment that allows for meaningful connections
  • Provide professional development and leadership support for faculty and trainees who have been historically excluded from medicine
