Zoom Presentation: Getting Promoted from Instructor to Assistant Professor @ Zoom Video Conferencing

Description: This 60-minute presentation, followed by a 30-minute Q&A, provides an overview of the Assistant Professor promotion process for faculty members at the rank of Instructor. Topics include selecting an Area of Excellence and Significant Supporting Activities, evaluation criteria, requirements for the dossier, and the Longer Service pathway. We encourage attendees to review relevant sections of the Faculty of Medicine handbook and/or Promotion Profile Library before arriving to better facilitate engagement and allow more time to ask questions. Sessions are not recorded, please plan accordingly.

Advancing Excellence in Sexual and Gender Minority Health Education: A Train-the-Trainer Course for all Healthcare Professionals (HMS & Fenway Health)

This train-the-trainer program is designed to teach participants best practices in delivering sexual and gender minority health education to colleagues and trainees at their health-care organization. Participants will learn how to teach sexual and gender minority concepts, terminology, and health disparities, and how to use relevant materials, activities, and strategies to lead effective trainings.
