Career Coaching with Gail Gazelle, MD, MCC

The BWH Center for Diversity & Inclusion is proudly partnering with Gail Gazelle, MD, MCC, professional coach for physicians and physician leaders, to offer complimentary one-on-one career coaching sessions. Dr. Gazelle will be available on Monday afternoons between 2 to 6 PM to provide confidential virtual sessions aimed at assisting physicians with moving toward a goal such as improved work-life integration, leadership development, improved conflict management, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, mitigating burnout, or building resilience. Dr. Gazelle uses a strengths- and results-oriented approach, assisting physicians in accessing and applying internal resources in order to move toward career goals.

Dr. Gazelle is a highly trained coach and has coached over 500 physicians and physician leaders. She is expert in providing laser-focused high-impact coaching sessions. She is available for one 45-minute session.  Please note that Dr. Gazelle is not a trained mental health professional so does not deal with depression, substance abuse, or other significant mental health issues. Dr. Gazelle is volunteering this time as a component of her HMS appointment.

Dr. Gazelle is a former hospice physician, part-time HMS Assistant Professor, and Master Certified Coach for physicians. A founding member of the Harvard Institute of Coaching, she has coached over 500 physicians and healthcare leaders on leadership development, communication, teamwork, managing burnout, building charting efficiency, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence.

 

Dr. Gazelle is the author of the 2023 Mindful MD. 6 Ways Mindfulness Restores Your Autonomy and Cures Healthcare Burnout. She hosts the popular private Facebook group, Women in Medicine First.

 

Her Imposter No More and physician charting course, Charting Your Life are available for self-paced online learning.
