Award nominations will be extended to Wednesday, July 20th. A designated awards selection committee will review all submissions. Full award descriptions and online nomination forms are available online.
The BWPO is pleased to announce that we will be offering the Faculty Pillar Awards this year in person on September 9, 2022. These awards were established to recognize our faculty for achievements in one or more of the 5 pillars of academic medicine: Mentorship, Education, Research, Community Service, and Diversity & Inclusion. In addition to showcasing the awardees on the publicly displayed recognition plaque, we will honor the awardees at the New Faculty Luncheon this fall. We hope you will take the time to consider the contributions of your colleagues, mentors, and mentees, and nominate a faculty member whose accomplishments and contributions merit recognition.
We are seeking nominations in the following categories:
- Clinical Teacher Award
- Educational Program Leadership Award
- Educational Research Award
- Research Community Service Award
- Contribution to Faculty Development
